Watson Publishing

Watson Publishing International printed their first book with Thomson Shore in 1972. For several decades, PD&PS has been responsible for the typesetting and design of many of their books.

Specializing in history and philosophy of science, medicine and technology, WPI publishes scholarly monographs and proceedings under the imprint Science History Publications/USA.

With over 150 titles in print, major projects have included multiple publications with the Countway Library, Harvard Medical School; Smithsonian Institution; and the Nobel Museum in Stockholm.

The featured book is Aurora Torealis. This book has a four color jacket with matte finish. Festschrifts are frequently a problem for commercial publishers. This collection of essays by acclaimed international scholars, in honor of Professor Emeritus Tore Frangsmyr of Uppsala University, features a period watercolor as well as a whimsical play-on-words title.
