The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a nonprofit organization working to improve forestry practices by implementing standards of sustainable forest management around the world. FSC's rigorous standards span environmental, social and economic concerns and vary among different bio-geographic regions. In 2007, Thomson-Shore was awarded the FSC Chain-of-Custody (CoC) Certification, which means that we diligently track, evaluate and store FSC-certified paper materials. We also maximize our use of recycled pallets, solvents and post-consumer content while maintaining strict schedules to reduce unnecessary rework. We proudly display the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) logo and the Rainforest Alliance logo as symbols of our environmental commitment.
The FSC and Rainforest Alliance logos may be small, but they literally mean the world to us. These logos show that we care deeply about our planet and promise to be the "greenest" book manufacturer for years to come.
